Surrey VetSoc Summer Ball Ticket Options

This year's VetSoc Summer Ball will be held on Friday 27th April at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking.

The 2018 VetSoc Summer Ball is set to be the biggest Vet Ball we've ever hosted so it's definitely not one to miss! This year, the event will be held at Denbies Wine Estate, set in the beautiful, rolling hills of Dorking and surrounded by vineyards.
This will be a formal event with the usual black tie dress code.

Tickets will include:

• Transport to and from the venue from either Surrey Sports Park on Manor Park Campus or the Duke of Kent building on Stag Hill campus
• Welcome drink
• Three-Course Meal
• Half a bottle of Denbies wine on the table (or an alcohol-free alternative) to accompany the meal
• Tea and coffee after the meal
• Entertainment for the evening
• An official photographer

The menu options, subject to any venue alterations, will be:

Standard Starter:
Duck Rillettes
(Confit Duck served with Fennel and Orange Salad)

Vegetarian Starter:
Heritage Beetroot with Goats Cheese
(Golden and Purple Beets, Blow Torched Goats Cheese, Toasted Pine Nuts, Cherry Tomatoes and Herb Dressing)

Standard Main:
Corn Fed Chicken with Dauphinoise Potato
(Chicken stuffed with Red Pepper Mousse, Gruyere & Garlic Cream Potato, Redlands jus de Yeau)

Vegetarian Main:
Porcini Mushroom Filled Pasta
(Served with either Gorgonzola Sauce or Tomato and Basil)

Dessert:
Chocolate Delice with Baileys Cream
(Rich Chocolate Tart with Baileys Cream)

Transport to the venue will be provided from Surrey Sports Park and Stag Hill, again, please indicate what transport you require when purchasing your ticket. There is ample parking also available onsite if you would prefer to drive to the venue.

Coaches will leave at 6pm from Surrey Sports Park and a point on Stag Hill Campus.
Coaches will leave from the venue between midnight and 1am and will again have drop-off's at Surrey Sports Park and Stag Hill Campus.

Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis and all Surrey students, staff, partners and plus ones are invited to attend.

Ticket prices:
VetSoc member tickets (please select the STUDENT option below) = £50
Non-member tickets (please select the NON-STUDENT option below) = £55
The deadline for ticket sales will be midnight on Friday 13th of April.

Once all tickets have been sold, we will be in touch to arrange seating plans and give more details on transport and the evening itself.
